One male 20-30; b. 1810-1820 - Daniel
One female 15-20; b. 1820-1825 - Sarah

Sarah died in Vermilion Co., IL between 1853 to 1856.

Daniel married second on 28 Dec 1856, Danville, Champaign Co., IL to Betsy Ann Taylor Kerr, daughter of John Clark Taylor and Rachel Cole Taylor. She was the widow of Samuel Kerr with six children.

Betsy died in 1857 and guardians were appointed for her children by Samuel:
22 Sep 1857 - Champaign County official record, Probate Court Guardianship Case 105: In the Matter of the Guardianship of Russell, John, Elizabeth, Matilda, Joseph F., and Rachel Ann Kerr. Dated September 22, 1857. Name(s): Button, James P.; Kerr, Elizabeth; Kerr, John; Kerr, Joseph F.; Kerr, Matilda; Kerr, Rachel Ann; Kerr, Russell.

As her son Russell's biography states that Betsy survived her husband Samuel only about four years, she must have died not long after her remarriage, probably in early 1857.

Betsy's husband Daniel Allhands remarried to his third wife Elizabeth Wilson on 25 February 1860 in Champaign Co., Illinois, but Russell was still living with his stepfather in 1860:
