Margaret Kemptner, 81, entered into rest January 13th, 2011 in Manteca. She was born December 6th, 1926 in Tracy, CA.
She leaves behind her loving husband of 63 years Richard Keptner. Her children are Richard Kemptner Jr. and wife Martie of Manteca, Tricia Davis and husband Russell of CO and Tami Kemp and husband Robert of Atos. Margaret was blessed with 4 grandchildren; Tim Kemptner, Rebecca Miller, Rachael Bradford, Kyle Davis and 8 great-grand-children. She is a sister to Lorraine Zion of CO, Nadene Culver of CO.
She is preceded in death by sisters Dona Noel and Dortha Cummings as well as her loving granddaughter Tiffany Brock.
Before making her home in Manteca, Margaret and her husband were long time residents of Castro Valley. Margaret was a homemaker. She was a member of Redwood Chapel in Castro Valley. She enjoyed spending time outdoors; gardening where she would tend to her bonze trees.
Margaret loved long walks along the beach where she would be fascinated by the many different sea shells, collecting them along the way. She adored the company of her dogs. Margaret especially loved her family; she never left out an opportunity to let them know. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend.
Arrangements for Mrs. Kemptner are under the direction of P.L. Fry and Son Funeral Home, 290 North Union Road, Manteca. A graveside service will be held in her honor Tuesday, January 18, 2010 at San Joaquin National Cemetery, 32053 West McCabe Road, Santa Nella, CA. 95322.
