She worked for RIC in Kanawha County in West Virginia from 1972-1989 as an office manager. Frances was a member of the Oaktown Methodist Church, and United Methodist Women, and Eastern Star. Frances is survived by her daughters, Pamela Leah Waldroup of King's Park, NY, Connie Ruth Waite and her husband Alan of Burke, VA, and Judith Mae Lewis of Springfield, OH; grandchildren, Sean Waite, Ian Waite, Jerod Lewis, Lara Lewis, and Matthew Lewis; ten great-grandchildren; brother-in-law Robert Brown of Oaktown; sister Wanda Pirtle of Bonita Springs, FL; brother Ward McClure and his wife Jesse of Gainsville, TX. She is preceded in death by her husband, Clifford, her parents, and sister Peggy Ann Brown.
The family will receive friends on Friday September 6, 2013 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Oaktown Methodist Church. Funeral services will be held on Saturday September 7, 2013 at 10:30 AM also at the church with Fred Rister and Pete White officiating and burial following at the Oaktown Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the United Methodist Women.
