PICAYUNE — Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 15, 2011 at 2 p.m. in Open Bible Holiness Church for Mrs. Lee Esther Abram, 87, of Picayune who passed away Tuesday, March 8, 2011 in Picayune. Minister Dillon will officiate at the service. Burial will be in the Picayune Cemetery under the direction of Baylous Funeral Home.
A native of Arkansas, she was a Homemaker, a member of the Eastern Star and a member of Open Bible Holiness Church.
She was preceded in death by: her husband, Otis W. Abram; two sons, Bill Abram and Johnny Will Abram; and her parents, Frank Taylor Sr. and Jannie Metcalf Taylor.
Survivors include: four daughters, Delores Moss of Picayune, Lillian Scott, Evangeline Abram-Randle, and Aletha Abram-Polk all of Gulfport, Miss.; two stepdaughters, Jean Shotwell of Columbia, Miss. and Sarah Ruth Jefferson of Gulfport; five sons, Arvin Abram, Christopher W. Abram, and Reginald E. Abram all of Picayune and Herbert L. Abram of San Antonio, Texas and Sherman Abram of Chula Vista, Calif.; two sisters, Verda Taylor of Little Rock, Ark., and Merion Eteria James of New Orleans, La.; two brothers, Leroy Mapp of Gulfport and Gene Taylor of Little Rock; 34 grandchildren; 55 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.
There will be no visitation.
