STANFIELD - Lizzie Dolena Efird Scott, 74, 18519-B Dusty Road, died Monday (May 29, 2000) at NorthEast Medical Center, Concord.

Born Aug. 26, 1925, in Stanly County, Mrs. Scott was a daughter of the late Winford Carl and Zora Marylee Huneycutt Efird. She retired from Wiscassett Mills, where she had been a fixer and a spinner. She was a member of St. Martin Lutheran Church.

Her husband, Monroe W. "Roe" Scott, preceded her in death.

Survivors include daughter Betty Kay Wilson, Stanfield; brothers Carl and Tony Efird, both of Albemarle, and Ondrie Efird, Stanfield; sisters Virgie cooper, Thomasville, and Rozena Tucker, Stanfield; and two grandchildren.

Services: 2 today, St. Martin Lutheran Church, conducted by the Rev. Stanley Leas. Burial, church cemetery.

The family will be at the home on Dusty Road.

Hartsell Funeral Home, Albemarle, in charge.
