"Alliance—Services will be 11:00 AM Monday at the Lane Funeral Home Canfield Chapel for Lynn E. Fields 76 of Alliance formerly of Berlin Center who passed away early Friday morning in Aultman Hospital in Canton. Mr. Fields was born January 22,1927 in Berlin Center the son of Floyd and Edna (Hartzell) Fields and was a lifelong area resident. Lynn worked in the construction industry for many years, retiring in 1985 from Kintz Construction in Alliance. He was a member of Berlin Center Methodist Church and an Army veteran of WWII serving in Italy where he received the WWII Victory Ribbon and the Army Occupation Medal. Lynn leaves his wife the former Charlene Allen whom he married November 20,1946, a daughter Dr. Bonnie Fields of Alliance and a sister Rema Lewis of Greenwood S.C. a sister Dora Jones and a brother Dale Fields preceded him in death. Family and friends may call form 4 to 7 PM Sunday at the funeral home. Family request material tributes take the form of donations to the Berlin Center Methodist Church."
