Cora Belle Hull was the daughter of Charles Francis Hull 1860 and Georgia Brewer. The town of Hull, Marathon County, Wisconsin, was named after her grandfather Nelson Hull.

Her family lived in the town of Holton, just below the town of Hull, in Marathon County. They moved away to Waushara County for a while, then came back to Holton.

Cora married Michael Miller, the son of Matthias Miller and Mary or Anna Beaver or Biver, on August 24, 1907. This was the second marriage for Michael after his first wife Anna Sieber had died.

The family lived with Michael's children from his previous marriage in Owen, Clark County, Wisconsin, which was adjacent to Holton in Marathon County. The previous children of Michael, which became Cora's step children were Laura Anna (John Frank Otto) Blunck 1897, and Rose (Charles C) Leland 1899. They had three additional children, Orville 1905, Harlis 1907, Donald 1908.

Harlis and Donald apparently died in childhood, they are not mentioned in her obituary.
