Langworthy, of Centerville, formerly of Marblehead, died on Easter Sunday, March 23, 2008.She was born in Minneapolis, Minn., December 14, 1922, the second daughter of the late Harvard and Mildred Rockwell.She graduated from Simmons College in 1945 and married William B. Langworthy in 1947. Mr. Langworthy died in 2005.Mrs. Langworthy leaves her sisters, Connie O’Neill of Greens Farms, Conn. and Jean Anderson of Brentwood, Calif.; her children, David, Tim (Mary), Barbara and Libby (Jon Fleuchaus); and five grandsons, Andrew, Sam and Jack Langworthy and Wesley and Sam Fleuchaus.Mrs. Langworthy loved being a mother most of all, but she also enjoyed the many years she spent as a guide at the Col. Jeremiah Lee Mansion.A remembrance will be held Saturday, April 5, at the National Cemetery in Bourne.Her family requests that in lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to the Marblehead Museum & Historical Society, 170 Washington St., Marblehead, MA 01945.
