Richard W. Carman
84. Beloved husband of Marcia A. (Connors) Carman, of Foxboro and a native of Needham, died on October 3, 2007.
He was a graduate of the University of Missouri with a BS in Mechanical Engineering. He was an avid tennis player and local race car designer and builder. His career as a mechanical engineer led him to many high tech companies along the 128 belt during the "60's" and "70's'.
Surviving in addition to his wife Marcia A. (Connors) Carman are three children: Michael Carman and his wife Caryl of Franklin, Curtis Carman of New York, Leslie Kravetz and her husband Steven of West Bridgewater and grandchildren Jaime and Keri. He was also the father of late Dean W. Carman.
Funeral services will be private and are under the direction of the Roberts & Sons Funeral Home in FOXBORO. Donations in Richard's memory may be made to the American Parkinsons Disease Association, 715 Albany St., Boston, MA 02118. WWII veteran, Army Air Corps.
