Earl J. Tubman
TAUNTON — Earl J. Tubman of Olney Street, Taunton, died June 15 at Morton Hospital. He was 70.

Born in Middleboro, he was the son of the late Kenneth and Doris (Vickery) Tubman. He was educated in the Brewster area schools and worked as a heavy equipment operator for various area construction companies.

An Air Force veteran of the Korean War, he served as a jet engine mechanic for the 38th Field Maintenance Squadron.

He is survived by a brother, Kenneth Tubman of Middleboro; four sisters, Linda Francis and Marion Seekall, both of Middleboro, Elizabeth Sennett of Connecticut and Doris Cobb of Marion; and several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Sally Marler.

Graveside services will be held at 2:30 p.m. June 19 at the Mass. National VA Cemetery in Bourne. Calling hours are respectfully omitted. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.
