Ronald Earl Hull was born on 23 April 1932 in Boston, Massachusetts, the son of Sidney P. Hull and Alice Vinette Walker. His obituary incorrectly lists his grandparents as his parents.

WAREHAM -- Ronald E. Hull, 71, of West Wareham, died Sunday, June 1, 2003, at Tobey Hospital. He was the widower of Barbara Reubin-Hull and Marjorie P. (Sullivan) Hull.

Born in Sharon, the son of the late James and Sarah (Swan) Hull, he lived in Stoughton for many years before moving to Wareham five years ago.

Mr. Hull had been a cook at Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Cambridge for 20 years, also working at the Stoughton Diner for many years. He retired in 1995.

He served in the Army during the Korean War and was a member of the Cedar Hill Golf Course, Brockton.

Survivors include three sons, Larry Hull of Peoria, Ariz., Roy Hull of Gilbert, Ariz., and Gary Hull of Brockton; a daughter, Patricia Durfee and her husband, Robert, of Peoria; a brother, Sid Hull of Irving, Texas; a sister, Jennie Leighton of Foxboro; seven grandchildren; four great-grandsons; and his best friend, Dorothy Aldridge of Wareham.

There are no planned funeral services. Burial will be in the Veterans National Cemetery, Bourne.

Arrangements are by the Stott, Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 2599 Cranberry Highway.
