GLADYS LORRAINE HENRY
Gladys Lorraine Henry, 76, of Crossville, passed away April 24, 2001. Funeral services were conducted April 27 from the chapel of Bilbrey Funeral Home, with burial in Crossville City Cemetery. Bro. Mike Ritzman officiated, with special music by Mike Ritzman and Stephen Crouse.
Mrs. Henry was born July 9, 1924, in Putnam County, TN, the daughter of William H. and Edna Allen Livesay.
She was an employee in Oak Ridge during the Manhattan Project, and she was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include her husband, Robert C. Henry of Crossville; daughter and son-in-law, Brenda K. and Ricky Crabtree of Crossville; son and daughter-in-law, Thomas Ray and Carol Henry of Crossville; brothers, Jack Livesay and Tom Livesay, both of Crossville; sister, Dorothy Chamberlin of Crossville; three stepgrandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Edna Livesay; and a sister, Susie Miller.
Pallbearers were Jack Livesay, Michael Livesay, David Livesay, Billy Swafford, Brian Swafford, Bill Henry and Gary Hall.
Bilbrey Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
