Robert D. Miller, 87 years old of Willshire, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, December 30, 2015 in the Lutheran Hospital of Indiana located in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Bob was born on April 19, 1928 in Van Wert County, Ohio the son of the late Oscar Miller and the late Hila May (Slusser) Miller. His 1st wife, married Phyllis J. Heil on June 19, 1948 and she passed away on May 6, 1995; his 2nd wife, married Jacqueline R. (Gase) Kelsey on October 26, 1995 and she passed away on December 3, 1999.

Bob attended Praise Point Church in Willshire; he was a member of the Willshire Sprotman's Club; and a member of the Willshire Fire Dept. Bob loved to play cards at the Willshire Sprtman' Club, hunt, and played softball for many years.

Bob retired from International Harvester in 1981 after 37 years of service.

Surviving are his daughter, Lynn Ann (Dennis) Henkle of Celina, OH; daughter, Rhonda (Stanley) Hunt of Willshire, OH; brother, Jay Miller of Sebring, FL; companion, Elois Wilson of Willshire, OH; 4 grandchildren: Heather Hunt, Josh Hunt, Rob (Bridget) Hinkle, Curt Hinkle; and 9 great-grandchildren: Ariana, Xavier, Willow, Brody, Godrick, Brenner, Benzen, Blayklee, & Cameron.

Preceding Robert in death were 8 sisters: Inola Alspaugh; Ruth Miller; Maxine Miller; Betty Miller; Mildred Kelsey; Margaret August; Eileen Suman; Louise Brown; and 5 brothers: Jim, Bill, Hilton, Paul, and Curtis Miller.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, January 6, 2016 in the Praise Point Church in Willshire, OH with Pastor Mark Rutledge, Pastor Brad Knittle, & Pastor Bob Shook officiating.

Interment will follow in the Willshire Cemetery.

Friends will be received from 2-5 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, January 5, 2016 in the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home, Decatur, IN and on Wednesday, one hour prior to the service at the church.
