Cpl. Tech. Anthony J. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph CASTRICONE 161 North Street, and left Medina with Company F, 108th Infantry in October 1940. On July 15 of this year Corporal CASTRICONE was married to Miss Helen ZUCZUSKI, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edward ZUCZUSKI, 120 North Street, who returned to the camp with her husband and has resided there since that time. Following the operation his condition was reported as improving until Tuesday, when his wife called home and his mother and other members of the family left immediately, arriving at the hospital shortly before his death.

Born in Medina March 22, 1921, he was educated in St. Mary's School. After training with Company F at Fort McClellan, Ala., and Fort Ord, Calif., Corporal Castricone was sent with the Company to Hawaii, where he remained until May 1943, at which time he was returned to this country. He has been stationed at Fort McClellan as company cook since that time.

Surviving besides his wife and parents are five brothers, Dominic CASTRICONE of Medina, Peter Castricone, Pharmascist's Mate 2/c, with the Marine Corps stationed in the South Pacific, Pvt. Louis Castricone, with the Anti-Aircraft, stationed at Long Island, Pvt. Jesse CASTRICONE, who went into service a month ago and is still stationed at Fort Sill, Okla., and Vincent CASTRICONE, who recently passed his pre-induction physical and is awaiting call; and five sisters, Mrs. Thomas VanDETTA and Mrs. Joseph CAMPANA of Medina, and Carmella, Angeline, and Mary Jane, at home.

The body will be sent to his home here for funeral services, arrangements for which have not been made.
