He was born March 5, 1955, at Fayetteville, the son of Archie Almon and Doris Nadine Jordon Peterson. He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Terry L. Peterson and one sister, Zora N. "Susie" Peterson Alaniz.
His greatest loves were his family and music.
He is survived by a daughter, Whitney R. Peterson of New York; two sisters, Dawn Bonham and her husband Jim of Fayetteville and Merita Butler and her husband Dwayne of Springdale; a brother-in-law, Fred Alaniz of Springdale; a sister-in-law, Carolyn Peterson of Greenland; four nephews, Tracy Hutchens, Scott Alaniz, Kelly Alaniz and Tully Butler; a niece, Amanda Butler Houpt; several great-nieces and nephews; and close friend Bonnie Fowler.
A private service will be held.
