This memorial updated on November 3, 2015 with the following corrections and updates -
> Elizabeth (a/k/a Lizzie) died on Friday, October 12, 1962. She was buried on Monday, October 15, 1962. A previous Evergreen cemetery transcription project inadvertently used October 15, 1962 for the death date. This memorial is now updated with the correct DOB and DOD information.
> The Fairfield Ledger obituary transcription is now included on this memorial.
> Her middle name is being changed to "Mae" from "May", in deference to the obituary transcription. The "May" version was used in a previous cemetery listing, perhaps in error.
> Updates to the memorials of the three children (Ralph, Joseph, and Arlene) have been made with inclusion of their respective obituary transcriptions and notes.
> The husband, Edward (Ed) Schillerstrom, died on July 19, 1934, of self-inflicted wounds. The Fairfield Daily Ledger published several graphic accounts of his death and inquest. While those stories are available on microfilm at the Fairfield Public Library (and have been read by this contributor), they are too graphic for use on his memorial, which was entered and is managed by another contributor anyway. The Schillerstroms were divorced on October 19, 1933, and a short story about the conditions of the divorce was published in the Fairfield Daily Ledger on Thursday, October 19, 1933.
