BOILING SPRINGS — Mrs. Eunice Brackett Anthony, 89, of 1942 Gaffney Road, died Friday, March 3, 2006, at Crawley Memorial Hospital.
A native of Cleveland County, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Jonnie Buff Brackett. She retired from Crawley Memorial Hospital, where she had been employed as a Certified Nursing Assistant. A member of Flint Hill Baptist Church, she was also a member of the Mothers' Sunday School Class.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Claude Alonzo Anthony; brothers, Nick Brackett, L.V. Brackett, T.C. Brackett and Merelle Brackett; and sisters, Gerden B. Jones and Alieen B. Clary.
She is survived by a sister, Mary B. Jones of Boiling Springs; and a number of nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be Sunday at 3 p.m. at Flint Hill Baptist Church, with the Rev. Keith Dixon officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery.
