Deanna K. Thompson, 64, of Vermillion died Friday, April 15, 2005, at Sio ux Valley Vermillion Hospital.

Deanna was born Sept. 25, 1940, at Vermillion, to Clifford and Opal (Lethcoe) Brunick. She received a GED from Vermillion High School. She married M illard Thompson Dec. 22, 1956 in Vermillion. She retired in 1992 from U SD Food Service as a baker. She was a member of Eagles Auxiliary since 198 3, where she was a trustee from 1986-89; and was named Mrs. Eagle in 1989. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Vermillion. She loved bing o, playing cards and her dog, Asha.

She is survived by her husband, Millard "Sonny" Thompson, Vermillion; t wo daughters, Teresa Hays, Vermillion and Brenda Sealey of Volin; a son, K eith Thompson of Vermillion; a foster daughter, Merri Kissick of Cheyenne, WY; a brother, Richard Brunick of Anaheim, CA; 11 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and stepfather, Alvin "Swede" Johnson, an infant daughter, Betty, and a brother, Warren Brunick.

Services were 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 19, at First Baptist Church, Vermillion, with the Rev. Sandy Aakre officiating. Burial was in the BluffView Cemetery, Vermillion.

Visitation was from 3 to 5 p.m. Monday, April 18, at the Iverson-Siecke Funeral Home, Vermillion, and from 6 to 7 p.m. with a 7 p.m. prayer servi ce at the church.
