Louis W. Czarnecki- Retired U.S. Steel Worker
Louis W. Czarnecki, 72, a lifelong Lorain resident, died
WedWednesday at Lorain Community Hospital after a long illness.

Mr. Czarnecki worked in the tool and die department at U.S. Steel Lorain Works, retiring in 1969.

He was a member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Lorain, the Holy Name Society and the St. Stanislaus Lodge.

Survivors include sisters Bernice Kachure and Josephine Godek, both of Lorain.

He was preceded in death by sisters Violet Dzoba and Mary Czarnecki, and brothers Walter, Joseph, Frank and Louis.

Friends may call 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, at the John J. Gluvna Funeral Chapel, 3224 Broadway, Lorain, where the rosary will be recited by the Holy Name Society of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church at 7:30 P.m..

Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Saturday in the funeral chapel, followed by a 10 a.m. Mass at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church. The Rev. Michael Dyrcz will be the celebrant.

Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in Lorain.
