Mary was the second oldest of the four children of John* & Anne [Boyle]* Scanlon. She and her brother Charles, and sisters Ann Elizabeth* and Kathryn [Katie]* were born in Philadelphia. Her family immigrated from County Donegal Ireland to the USA in the mid 1880's, probably 1885.
She married George G. Kelly, Sr.* and lived for many years at the corner of Park Ave. and Cuthbert Blvd. in Collingswood NJ.
Mary was the mother of 3: daughters Mary [Carl] Obeck* and Henrietta Kelly* and son George* [Renie] Kelly. After her husband George died she lived out her years in a smaller home in Collingswood with daughter Henrietta.
