Martha Hill Dixon Hatch was the daughter of Lewis [1778-1815] & Catherine [Hill] Dixon.Granddaughter of Col William [1759-1820]Dixon & Mary Williams Dixon.Great-Granddaughter of Joseph & Mary Hicks Williams.Great-Great Granddaughter of Benjamin & Christian Bryant Williams of Newbern, NC. Benjamin was fourth generation descended from Oliver Cromwell,Lord Protector of England 1653-1658,through his daughter Frances.
Married Rev.Lemuel Durant Hatch on January 15th, 1828 near Faison, Duplin Co. NC.
They moved to Greensboro Al in 1833 and resided at "Roseland" near Greensboro.
