She was born Dec. 15, 1927, in Beaumont, Texas, to Joseph Bruney and Rena (Schexsnider) Praznik.
On Jun 11, 1944, she married Felix Bruney in Camden, N.J. He survives, residing in Warrenton.
Mrs. Bruney was a homemaker.
Family members said she enjoyed art, crafts and miniature houses and furniture.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Joe and Shelley Bruney of Warrenton; two daughters and a son-in-law, Susie and Dennis Davis of Tennessee and Carol Ann Bruney of Portland; four grandchildren, Summer Watkins and her husband, Derek, of Hammond, Sonny Bruney and his wife, Erica, of Warrenton, Joe Bruney and his companion, Gina Bascone, of Tennessee and Brian Bruney and his wife, Stacey, of Alabama; and seven great-grandchildren, Riley, Masie and Charlotte Watkins of Hammond, Savannah and Dietrich Stephan of Warrenton, Taylor Bruney of North Carolina and Shelby Bruney of Alabama.
She was preceded in death by a son, Mike Bruney.
