Wilma "Tiny" Aline Tims Collins, resident of Bolivar, TN and widow of the late Frank Jefferson Collins, departed this life at her residence on Thursday, May 12, 2011. One of the oldest residents of West TN, with over 200 living descendants, Mrs. Collins would have celebrated her 103rd birthday on May 28, 2011.

She was born May 28, 1908, the daughter of James Aaron and Theodocia (Timms) Tims. She married Mr. Frank Collins, Sr. on October 31, 1925. A native of Madison County, TN, until 1958 after the death of her husband, she moved to the Weldon, AR Community; where she resided for a number of years before returning to West TN. She was a long time member of Maple Springs Baptist Church near Mercer, TN.

Blessed with good health her entire life, she will be remembered as an outdoor person who enjoyed flowers, gardening and preparing meals for her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two daughters, Docia Collins and Wilma King, in addition to five grandchildren.

"Tiny" is survived by seven daughters; Frances Elizabeth Dulin of Medon, TN; Linnie Estelle Pirtle of Malesus, TN; Mildred Dean King of Hickory Valley, TN; Susie Ann Odom of Tupelo, AR; Betty Jane Fitzwater of McCrory, AR; June Darlene Martin of Searcy, AR; Kathy Flake of Bradford, AR and three sons: Frank Collins Jr. of Searcy, AR; Ray Collins of Medon, TN; and Harry Collins of Selmer, TN. Also surviving are 47 grandchildren, 91 great-grandchildren, and 100 great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held, Monday, June 16, 2011 at Maple Springs Baptist Church, with personal remarks given by her grandson, Marty Collins. Internment followed in the church cemetery. Peebles Fayette County Funeral Home and Thompson-Wilson McCrory Funeral Home were in charge of arrangements.

Memorials requested to Maple Springs Cemetery Association.
