Mathew Keilen,an old resident of the
Township of Forest,passed away Febuary
13,1925 at 2:30 o'clock at the St.Lucas
Hospital.

Mr. Keilen was born March 1,1878 in
Germany,coming to this country with
his parents when a child.

He was married to Lena Pufahl in
August 1904.Two children were born
to this union,Marie and Joseph.
Mrs. Keilen died November 12,1918.



November 30,1919,he was married to
Mrs. Mary Hagen,to this union,two
children,Edward and George were born.

Besides his wife and four children
the deceased is survived by his mother
and six brothers,Peter of Madison,Minn.
William and Paul of Faribault,John,Mike,
and Henry of Forest.

The funeral was held Monday Feb.16 at
9:00 o'clock at the residence and at
10:00 o'clock at the St.Lawrence Church
in Faribault.

Burial was made in the St. Lawrence
Cemetery.Rev.Father Villman officiating.
The pallbearers were Matt Becker,John
Becker,Nick Meyer,George Becker,Matt
Thomas and Mike Strouth.

Sympathy is extended to the family of
the deceased by friends in this
community.
