Thomas Ernest Alexander, 76, 1124 Madison died Tuesday, Oct. 2, at his home. Mr. Alexander was a janitor for Topeka public schools before he retired. He was born Nov. 3, 1907, in Haskell County, the son of John W. and Sadie Shelton Alexander. Mr. Alexander was a member of Antioch Baptist Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Wright, Los Angeles, and Mrs. Joann Dunley, Topeka; two brothers, Floyd Alexander and Melvin Alexander, both of Topeka; six grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren,
Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Jones-Gaines and Son Funeral Home. Burial will be in Mount Auburn Cemetery. A wake service will be from 5 until 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Relatives and friends will meet today at the home of Verlie Martin, 1124 Madison
