Mandy Dickerson died at home after an extended stay in Florence, Al hospital. Survivors include her husband Alonzo Dickerson, brother William (Bud) Purser, daughters, Lee Omi Martin, Ella Mae Coosenberry, Merkie Risner, and Pearl Wright, all from Tennessee, and several grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents Poney and Martha (Cypert) Purser. They are also buried in Jackson Cemetery.
My grandmother told me that her Aunt Mandy was bitten by a rattlesnake and was in Florence Hospital for about one month.
She was sent home lived one week and passed away at home on Sept 7, 1958.
