Fond du Lac Commonwealth Reporter, Thurs. Apr. 14, 1960, p. 28, c. 1. John Koch, 67, Dies; Service At St. Mary's, Retired Cheese Company Employe Expires While In Sheboygan Hospital. John Koch, 67, a retired employe of the Tolibia Cheese Manufacturing corporation here, died Wednesday noon in St. Nicholas hospital in Sheboygan. Mr. Koch, who resides at 139 Ledgeview avenue, had made his home with his daughter, Mrs. Andrew Schmitz, at Sheboygan the last several months. Born April 27, 1893, in the Town of Forest, the son of Nicholas and Victoria Sippel Koch, he was married Oct. 2, 1918, to Regina Morgen in Holy Cross church at Mt. Calvary. They lived on a farm in the community until 1955, when they moved to the city, where Mrs. Koch died May 1, 1959. Mr. Koch had been retired since 1959. He was a member of St. Mary's church. Surviving, in addition to his daughter, are three grandchildren; a foster son, Andrew Salfer, city; and two sisters, Mrs. Anton Krug, Route 4, and Mrs. Paul Rogers, Ft. Wayne, Ind. Friends may call at the Zacherl Funeral home after 2 p.m. Sunday. Funeral services will be there Monday at 8:30 a.m. and at 9 a.m. at St. Mary's church. Burial will be in Calvary cemetery.

Funeral services for John Koch, who died Wednesday, were today at 8:30 a.m. at the Zacherl Funeral home and at 9 a.m. at St. Mary's church, the Rev. Henry A. Maurer officiating. Pallbearers were Annis Caseta, Victor Hoerth, Eugene Krug, Rupert Gotz, George Stephany, and Charles Schwartz. Burial was in Calvary cemetery. Out-of-town persons attending the services were from Sheboygan, Ft. Wayne, Ind., New Holstein, Charlesburg, Fox Lake, Ill., and Milwaukee.
