Dr. A. A. Absher

Dr. A. A. Absher, 71, of Sibley, died early Saturday evening at Brokaw hospital in Normal. He was born Feb. 5, 1869, at Carmi, a son of Judge. Samuel and Amelia Tanquary Absher.

He married Miss Leona Helmick of Bellflower Aug. 22, 1894. They had lived in Sibley for 46 years.

Surviving are the widow; a daughter, Mrs. H. J. Rudolph, Danville; two grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Ida Shook, of Mt. Carmel.

Funeral services were held at 4 o'clock on Monday at Lamb's funeral home in Gibson City. Burial was in Mt. Hope cemetery in Sibley.
