Thomas Eads was born March 18, 1855 at Platte City, Mo., and diied at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Otis Reisinger, June 1, 1924. He came to this neighborhood when but a small boy and had lived here the greater part of his life. June 7, 1874 he was married to Mary C. Graham to which union four children were born, three of whom are living. The children who survive are James of Cyril, Okla., Lillie Underwood of Kansas City, Mo., Mrs. Otis Reisinger of Cummings, Louise Huckleberry of Holbert, Okla., Carrie Farris of Ashland, Kans., Thomas of Oklahoma City, Okla., Homer of Proctor, Okla., and Earl of Cummings. Mr. Eads was a man highly respected in this community and will be greatly missed by his many friends. The funeral services were held Wednesday at the M. E. Church with burial in the Cummings cemetery.
