Thomas "Tom" Russell Barlage, aqe 77 of Olivehurst, Calif. passed away on Sept. 2, 2010. Tom was born on Dec. 31, 1932 in New Richmond, Wis. to Henry and Edith (Payne) Barlage. He moved as a youth with his family to Belle Plaine and later served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He married Alice June Barlage and they were later divorced. He worked for Green Giant Company most of his working life having lived in Henderson, and most recently California. He later married Carol June Schuning and they made their home in California.He is survived by his wife, Carol June of Olivehurst, Calif., daughter, Dianne Ward of Eden, Md. and two grandchildren; siblings, Ethel Westlund and Joe Barlage of Belle Plaine, Chris Barlage of Shakopee , Louis Barlage of California and Rose Tolley of Arizona.Graveside services are scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 25, 2010 at 2 p.m. at SS Peter and Paul Cemetery in Belle Plaine with military rites by the Belle Plaine Honor Guard.
