Services for Michelle Raney, 52, Lawrence, were Friday at Plymouth Congregational Church in Lawrence. Private inurnment later. Mrs. Raney died Thursday, Nov. 2, 2006, at her home. She was born Feb. 5, 1954, in Lawrence, the daughter of Richard H. and Kathleen Larson Raney. She graduated from Lawrence High School and received a baccalaureate degree from New Mexico University in 1976. She later completed the Stormont-Vail nursing program. Mrs. Raney served as a public school nurse in the Lawrence school district from 1988 to 1996. She was a member of the American Quarter Horse Assn. and Plymouth Congregational Church in Lawrence. She married Isaac F. "Bud" Stallworth. He survives, of the home. Other survivors include her parents, Lawrence; two sons, Jehren, Overland Park, and Jonathan, Arkansas City; three stepsons, Isaac III, Ijon and Christian Stallworth, all of Atlanta. A brother, Richard B. Raney, died in December 1983. Memorials to the Lawrence Memorial Hospital Endowment Association Oncology Department, c/o Warren-McElwain Mortuary.
