Kevin was my very first serious boyfriend.

I didn't see a memorial for him so I decided to make one. Please feel free to leave him tokens of remembrance after your visit. Thank you and God Bless.

He was very special to many, not just myself.

He'll always live on in my heart and in the hearts of all that knew him.
He was as beautiful inside as he was outside.
Everyone has their own Kevin story. Here is mine.

We met through a magazine ad that I put in looking for pen pals. He saw that we lived blocks apart and wrote to me.
That was the year 1977. After continuously breaking up and getting back together, we amicably parted once again, but it once again tore my heart to shreds just like each and every time. It had to do with his music and distance, not disagreements or arguments. There was his first love, his music,
I was jealous of the time it took from us. We last saw each other on New Years Eve 1980.He chose to spend New Years Eve with me at my house instead of partying with the guys. I still remember watching him the next morning on January 1, 1981 walking down the ice covered alley and hoping that he doesn't break his neck. He must have walked all that way home in that horrible weather.

We randomly reconnected in the summer of 1986 in front of my house on Belle St. in Detroit.
I saw him walking by with a few friends. Gorgeous as ever.
My life had gone through many changes by then.
I was pretty cool cause I was reluctant to get involved again, felt unable to handle the feelings that were bound to surface. Felt pretty guilty for awhile.

We reconnected on facebook in 2006.
I didn't realize how much I really meant to him back then until that very moment.
I had a hard time accepting love for what it is.
I'm grateful that I was able to reconnect with him before his passing. God brought us together and wasn't about to let him leave without letting us connect again.
He was a marvelously talented musician.
I always knew that he'd be famous, I just didn't have a clue that he'd leave this earth so soon. Even though I've heard how the good always die young.

Fate is not kind.

A smoker, Kevin had been diagnosed with lung cancer in 2007. The lung cancer ultimately spread to his brain, as well. Kevin was told in February 2009 that he no longer had any trace of cancer in his body. By November, however, Kevin was deceased. He was 47 years old.

He leaves 2 sisters,Shannon Page and Renee Mulka ,two sons, many friends and other family members.
