Last rites for Dr. T. L. Abington, age 75 years, were held at 4:30 p.m. Sunday from the First Baptist church, Oakdale, Rev. E. C. Harris officiated.
Dr. Abington was a native of Sabine parish, born in reared near Noble, having practiced medicine in Many for a number of years, later practiced in Oakdale and Zimmerman for a number of years.
He is survived by his wife and seven children: half-brother, J. M. Abington of Many and half-sister, Mrs. A. S. Rains of Zwolle; a number of nieces and nephews and many friends in this parish to mourn his passing.

In 1907, Dr. T. L. Abington was elected president of the parish health board, and he was also appointed coroner.
