Rosama Ann Baker Houp, 84, widow of William Thomas Houp , died Wednesday July 19,2006
Rosie was born June 4, 1922, in Rockcastle County to the late Elie and Zephra Ann Gadd Baker.
Survivors are nine children, Billy Joe,Charles E,Enos,Helen Marie Houp Bowlin Frye,Kathleen Houp Goodlett Puckett,Bobby E,Vernon Lee Houp Sr,and David Lee Houp; 35 grandchildren, Debbie, Lisa, Junior, Bo, Teresa, Laura, Bobby Wayne, Mary, Ricky, Carl, Jimmy, Roger, Bengi, Angie, Ronnie, Donnie, Jeffery, Michael, Tonya, Candy, Brian, Melissa, Michael B., Anthony, Brandon, Bradley, Alicia, Jeremiah, Little Vernon, Becky, Melanie, David, Jason and Jeffery B., a sister, Mary Hurley; several great and great-great-grandchildren, and other family members.Sister to Hughie,Murry,Elias Wallace,John G,Virgil,Edsel Brandley,Eli,and Elmer Preston Houp.
She was preceded in death by a daughter Ermi J Houp, three grandchildren, Jake, Lily Bowlin Hall, and Troy, and six brothers, Elmer, Elige, Hughie, John, Etzel and Virgil Baker.
Services were held on Monday at Betts & West Funeral Home with Elder David Marsee officiating, with burial in Camp Nelson National Cemetery.
Bearers were her seven sons.
