Infant child born at five and a half months gestation while parents on visit from Ohio to Castlewood to see ailing Mawmaw Phillips. Betty Ann lived only 5 days with lung complications. The Phillips 10 family plots in Section 12 were bought for her. Hers was the first service held there with only Tom and Daddy in attendance as Momma was still in the hospital, and we were too young to even understand what had happened. But she was never forgotten. She was the fourth out of five sisters. Daddy is buried next to her with Momma next to him in this quiet mountaintop cemetery she called, “The most beautiful cemetery in the world!”
