Caroline Elizabeth "Caddie" Lamoreaux was the daughter of Andrew Locey Lamoreaux of Canada and Isabelle Wilson of Scotland. She married Robert William McCoomb before 1865. They were shown of the 1875 Elko, NV census. Their known children were sons William Robert, Lindol and daughters, Nettia C. and Katie May McCoomb. By the 1880 census Caddie was still in Elko but remarried to E.B. Martin.

Has Lived In Salt Lake Since Her Early Girlhood Days

The funeral of Mrs. Caroline Elizabeth McComb Martin Will take place Friday at 2 o'clock from St. Mark's cathedral. Dean Benjamin Brewster will officiate.

Mrs. Martin was born in Dayton, O., Dec 25, 1840, and came to Utah in her girlhood days. She is survived by five children; William McComb, 44 North Ninth West street; Mrs. A.N. Stoddard, Milford; L.S. McComb, 780 West First South street; Mrs. V.V. Wilson, 780 West First South street; Mrs. J.A. Hunt, 48 South Sixth East street. Mrs. J.H. Dewey, a sister, resides at No. 241 West Fourth South street.

The cause of death was dropsy. Death occurred at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. V.V. Wilson, 780 West First South street, at 9 o'clock Tuesday evening.

Friends and relatives can view the remains at the residence of Mrs. J.A. Hunt, 48 South Sixth East street, between the hours of 11 and 1 o'clock. Burial will be in the City cemetery.
