Mrs. Mary Elma Dearien, 65, of Spring Fork on Campbell Creek, died yesterday at her home after a long illness. She was a member of Spring Fork Baptist Church.
Surviving are a son, Alfred Blake of Spring Fork; one stepson, Sterling Dearien of Charleston; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Fred Greybill of St. Albans and Mrs. George Johnson of Coal Fork; five sisters, Mrs. Laura White and Mrs. Ruby Skiles both of Coal Fork, Mrs. Morris Burke of Red House, Mrs. Mertie McGraw of Columbus, Ohio and Mrs. W.F. Atkins of Palestine; three brothers, Alfred Hunt of Richwood, Ohio, Arthur Hunt of Malden and Robert Hunt in Africa; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
The body is at Fidler and Frame Funeral Home at Belle.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Spring Fork Baptist Church. The Rev. Herman Haynes will officiate. Burial will be in Mt. Olive Cemetery at Ripley.
