Before coming to Calif, Judy was the society reporter in Norfolk, Nebr. She and her husband, Raymond Sr., together ran an accounting business in downtown San Diego for 40 plus years. They were longtime members of the Southwestern and San Diego Yacht Clubs.
Judy was an active member of the San Diego Opti-Mrs' and her P.E.O. Chapter PT. She enjoyed writing and won several awards for her children's stories. She was an avid reader and loved reciting poetry to her children and grandchildren. She took special interest in the lives of her four granddaughters and strongly supported their various activities. She will be remembered by all for her quiet, and sweet demeanor.
Services will be at 11am Saturday Feb 1, 2003, St. Agnes Catholic Church, 1140 Evergreen, Point Loma. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to San Diego Hospice, 4311 Third Ave, San Diego, CA. Published in The San Diego Union Tribune on Jan. 31, 2003.
