In her early adult years, Ethel traveled around the country, working with her husband, and raising 3 daughters. Later in life she worked in a dry cleaning shop in Fayette, Iowa, where she lived most of her life. She loved to travel, visiting relatives in New Orleans, LA, Pensacola, FL and North East Iowa and other locations. She enjoyed traveling by train, and later by airlines.
