Lindsey is the son of William Wallace & Emma Elizabeth (McNutt) Powers, Sr. He married Elma J. Williams, May 30, 1894 in Hart (Oceana Co.), MI. They had at least 7 children: Lurean, Luverne, Ethel, Dale, Emma, Hall, & and unk. named infant son.
Lindsey was a member of the Wesleyan Methodist Church in Ferry. He worked in the (family) Powers' Saw & Grist Mill and was a farmer in Ferry.
