CROSSVILLE — Phyllis J. Easterly (née Morgan), 63, of North Ridgeville, OH, passed away Monday, June 27, 2011 at the New Life Hospice residential center in Lorain, OH following a lengthy illness. Funeral services were held July 1 at the Liston Funeral Home of North Ridgeville, OH. The Rev. Gerald Flury, pastor of North Ridgeville Baptist Church, officiated. Burial was at Butternut Ridge Cemetery in Eaton Township, OH.
Mrs. Easterly was born April 8, 1948, in Topmost, KY and was a resident of North Ridgeville, OH for 45 years. Phyllis was a homemaker who enjoyed reading, playing bingo, gambling, gardening and yard sales. She also enjoyed traveling with her husband.
She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Bobby; two daughters, Jennifer Warner (Jeff) of Crossville and Charmany Easterly of North Ridgeville, OH; two sons, Bobby Easterly of North Ridgeville, OH and Alva Easterly (Jeannine) of Eaton Twp., OH; 12 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Joanna Lewis (Sonny) of Crossville, Beverly Amburgey of New Haven, OH and Theresa Walker (Floyd) of New London, OH.
She was preceded in death by two grandchildren, her father, Alvis C. Morgan, and her mother and stepfather, Ollie and Alva Ladig.
