Marjorie H. Alexander, 96, of Olathe, KS, passed away Sunday, June 4, 2000. Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Thursday, June 8, at Mt. Moriah & Freeman Chapel, I-435 at Holmes Rd.; burial will be in Mt. Moriah Cemetery. Visitation will be 2-3 p.m. Thursday, June 8, at the chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to Wayside Waifs.

Mrs. Alexander was born September 8, 1903, in Kansas City, MO. She was a lifelong resident of the area and a member of First Calvary Baptist Church where she served as financial secretary, Sunday school teacher and W.M.U. She was employed by the Kansas City Railway Company and served as a volunteer at Baptist and Research Hospitals. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Alexander in 1998, and one infant son. She is survived by a son, John D. Alexander and wife, Jo, Ponca City, OK; and a daughter, Kaitlyn Alexander, Olathe; one grandson, Keith Alexander and wife, Meg, Ponca City, OK; and great-grandchildren, Jacob, Mariah, Toby and Megan Alexander.
