W. Harvey Bacon Died Saturday

W. Harvey Bacon,69,died last Saturday at Evans Memorial Hospital in Claxton after a short illness.

The Tattnall County native was a retired farmer.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Aletha Sikes Bacon of Glennville; three daughters, Mrs. Wanda Futch of Ludowici, Mrs. Lynn Sapp and Ms. Judy Bacon, both of Claxton; two sons, Ted Bacon of Pembroke and Larry Bacon of Marianna, Fla.; a sister, Mrs. Harold Burkhalter of Glennville; and eight grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 3p.m. last Monday at Beard's Creek Primitive Baptist Church, burial in the church cemetery.

Rimes Mortuary of Glennville was in charge of arrangements.
