Nellie Dauner taught at Sand Creek school before she married Ray McFall. They had four children:Pearl,Albert,Leroy,and Harold. Nellie loved her home, her community, her family and especially her grandchildren. Nellie and Ray were active members of the United Methodist Church and raised their children in the faith. Getting together as a family was very important to her and she would always feed everyone. She was known as an exceptional cook. She aged gracefully and when the time came to give up her home and move to a nursing home, Nellie looked to the bright side saying she was having more company now than she had at home for years, and she didn't have to wash dishes anymore. Cooking was okay but after 90 years she had finally gotten tired of washing dishes!
