Sgt. Chad D. Frokjer, 27, of Maplewood, Minn., died June 30 while conducting combat operations in Helmand province, Afghanistan. He was assigned to 1st Battalion, 5th Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division, I Marine Expeditionary Force, Camp Pendleton, Calif. Survived by loving wife, Leslie; son, Eli; parents, Brian and Arlene; sister, Nichole; grandmother, Margaret Vick; his Marine brothers; many other relatives and friends.
