CHILDS, STEPHEN RAY - age 37, of Briceville, TN, passed away Friday, November 3, 2006 at the UT Medical Center in Knoxville. He was an employee of Carlisle Tire Company in Clinton. He was a US Army veteran. Stephen was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence & Naomi Childs. Survivors: wife, Patricia (Wilson) Childs of Briceville; brothers & sisters, John Childs of Nashville, Phyllis Childs Foust of Nashville, James E. & wife Shirley Childs of Knoxville, Linda Childs Ureste of Jacksboro, TN, Paul Childs of Knoxville, Mark Childs of Lake City, Jody Childs Smith of Nashville; God daughter, Bethany Wrede of Briceville; mother in law, Ann Wilson of Briceville; mamaw, Bernice Patterson of Briceville; many beloved nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, brothers & sisters in law, and other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends on Sunday, November 5, 2006 from 6-8 p.m. at the Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Lake City. Funeral services will be Monday, November 6th at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Holley-Gamble Funeral Home with the Rev. Jeryl Barnette officiating. Interment will follow the service at the Leach Cemetery in Lake City. Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Lake City in charge of all arrangements.
