Mr. Holland, born in Sampson County, was a graduate of Midway High School and a security alarms monitor.
He is survived by his mother and step-father, Mary Annette Holland and Lester Gurganus of the home, his father, Alfredo Gomez of Alabama; two sisters, Donna Renae Jacobs of Clinton and Luz Lsela Gomez of Alabama and a special grandfather, Ammie Jacobs of Clinton.
The family received friends 7-9pm, Friday, July 16, 2010 at the Royal-Hall Funeral Home of Clinton.
The funeral services were held at 3pm, Saturday, July 17, 2010 at New Bethel Baptist Church with the Rev. Terry Cummings, the Rev. Ricky Jacobs and the Rev. Randy Simmons officiating.
Burial was made in the Church Cemetery.
