Margaret Rae "Peggy" Knox was an exceptional person. Everyone who had the opportunity to know her could see that God created her a thoughtful, caring, sincere, and loving individual. She truly exemplified the spirit of
1 John 4:11 -- "Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another."

Peggy was born in Haverhill, Massachusetts on August 17, 1941. She was the youngest of two sisters born to Viola and Raymond Butterfield. Peggy and her sister Betty A developed a wonderful relationship during their youth in Massachusetts and Maine.

Peggy married William Scott Knox on April 28, 1977. Peggy was a devoted, attentive, and loving wife throughout their 20 years together. Peggy was blessed with two loving children, Cindy Rae and Fredrick Ronald and two grandchildren, Michael and Amanda, all of whom she loved dearly.

Peggy passed away on January 7, 1997. Her passing was difficult for all who knew her. However we realize that as a child of God she has been saved by the blood of Jesus Christ and is now in her heavenly home.

I shall miss her for the rest of my days.
