Minnie Eva Gorst was born in April of 1867 at Little Falls, Minnesota. She was born to John Phillips and Larinda "Linda" Moore (Coe) Gorst.
At about 1885, in the state of Minnesota, she married Allison Edwin Ainsworth. Together they had five children, Clinton, Ethel, Katharyn, Verna, and Edwin. They remained together until the death of Allison in 1915.
Apparently she never remarried, and on 2 February 1960, at the age of ninety two, Minnie passed away.
