Mr. Hobert Lee Lewis age 90 of McMinnville, TN, died Monday, September 30, 2013, at his residence. He was born January 26, 1923, in White County, TN, was the former owner and operator of Hobert Lewis Realty and Auction Company, a member of Quebeck The Baptist Church, and served his country with the U.S. Navy during World War II. Mr. Lewis was preceded in death by parents William Walter and Lela Belle Holton Lewis, his wife Helen Joan Lewis, sisters Wilda Lewis, Vetra Lewis, Velma Anderson, and Viola Pettit, and brothers William L. Lewis, Fernando Lewis, Gaines Lewis, W.A. Lewis, T.R. Lewis, Herbert Lewis, and Herman Lewis.

Survivors include his children Robert (Sue) Lewis, Teresa (Herschel) King, Robin (Charles) Rolley, Katie (Jackie) Matheny, Rita (Lonnie) Rogers, Lavetta (William) Westberry and Linda (Jeff) McGee. 23 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild, nieces, nephews, family members, and friends also survive.

Funeral service will be 11:00 A.M. Thursday, October 03, 2013, in the McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel. Bro. Tom Fittis will officiate. Interment will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in White County, TN. Military grave rites will be administered by American Legion Post 173 and the V.F.W. Post 5064. The Lewis Family will receive friends Wednesday from 5 P.M. until 9 P.M. and again Thursday from 8 A.M. until 11 A.M. at the parlors of McMinnville Funeral Home.
